What sports teams (or sports) do you follow closely, pro, college or otherwise?
Green Bay Packers
Milwaukee Brewers
Wisconsin Badgers football.
I also watch golf when Tiger is charging for the lead, and love March Madness. And of course college bowl season.

For me:
Dallas Cowboys
Dallas Stars
Texas Rangers (even though I don't like the DH rule)
Dallas Mavericks (haven't been following close this last season)
Texas Longhorns Football, Baseball, & Softball
And Texas Aggie sports same as above.
Jacksonville High School Indians (Football & Baseball)
I know that goes against the grain watching Horns and Aggies as most people are usually die-hard one or the other. But not me.
But my favorite to watch is my own kids or even kids that I know.
Any doubt I enjoy sports? :D

I've lived with the DH rule and pitcher's hitting with my Milwaukee Brewers. I think I prefer DH.

And I think that's why they keep it split like it it because of you and me and the rest of the divided world

Just curious why the Colts when you are Texas born and raised? I'm not saying it's wrong at all because I for some unknown reason have a liking for Kansas City Chiefs. But just curious if you know because I don't ;)

Isn't Baylor supposed to have a decent football team this year?

I didn't get to see that baseball11, but the score came through on my phone. I was at Adam's HS Band Boosters meeting and mini concert. Dang they sounded good!

Anyone watching the World Series? It is bittersweet watching CC Sabathia pitch (ex-Milwaukee Brewer).
Sure would like MLB better if all markets could compete.

I'm barely watching it. But I want the Phillies to win it! I cannot stand for a team to be stacked the way the Yankees are and it because of the money they have.
Did you know that the 2009 annual payroll for the Yankees is $201 million? The next closest franchise to them is the Mets @ $149 million.
Just to put things into perspective for how varied this is, Texas is @ $68 million and the bottom is the marlins @ a mere $36 million.
There needs to be a strict cap in place imo or it will continue to be lopsided.
C'mon Phillies! :D

I'm for Philly as well. The payroll issue in MLB makes me sick. My Milwaukee Brewers have REALLY been upping their spending the last several years...but look how pathetic they look compared to the Yankees. There is no way we can compete on a consistent basis.

Absolutely Steve! The only thing keeping some of the strongest players on the team other than the Yankees are contracts. It's only a matter of time before the Yankees will get them though.

Looks like Colorado better do some car washes and bake sales to catch up.

LOL! Quite a few teams need to do something if they don't introduce a salary cap!
Like Steve said in the Chatter thread, the Yankees did it! Can you say STACKED!?!
